Pixel8 RF microneedling combines two technologies commonly used for skin rejuvenation, radiofrequency and microneedling.

RF technology converts into heat (thermal energy). This thermal energy stimulates fibroblasts to produce more collagen.

Traditional skin microneedling causes physical trauma to the skin and through stimulation of the body’s own wound healing response also stimulates fibroblasts to produce more collagen.

When combined, Pixel8 fractionated RF microneedling gives enhanced results than could not be achieved with either technology alone. Clinical studies show that microneedling RF can address the causes of aging, significantly reducing wrinkles and age spots while tightening and lifting the skin on the face and neck with minimal downtime and discomfort. It is less invasive than injectables and laser skin resurfacing while restoring youthful radiance.

Skin will appear brightened and smoother by day 7, however collagen production begins after this point. Typically clients have visible tightening and lifting by 30 days and continue to see improvements for up to 4 months.

The best thing about treatments that stimulate collagen is that they do NOT wear off! The collagen you build is yours to keep. You will continue to lose collagen over time as a normal aging process however, so a maintenance treatment once a year is recommended.

There is minimal downtime after. You can expect to look sunburnt and have mild swelling to the area for 1-2 days after treatment. You can resume makeup 24 hours after treatment.

As with all energy based treatments it is important to be careful about sun exposure after treatment. We recommend avoiding sun exposure for a full 7 days after treatment.
