  • Laser energy is absorbed into the follicle to heat and destroy it, permanently stopping growth of that hair.

    Hair grows in a cycle, moving from growth phase to dormancy and shedding. Hair that is in the anagen, or growth, phase is what is targeted during the laser hair removal treatment.

    After several weeks new follicles will enter growth phase and can be treated with another session. With each session less hair will return until your goal is met. We recommend a series of 6 treatments for optimal hair removal.

  • Most clients notice a decrease in hair growth in the week following their very first treatment! With each treatment there will be additional reduction of hair growth.

  • No! In some cases your skin may feel a bit sunburnt for a short time after the treatment, however typically there is no sign that you have been treated. As with all energy based treatments it is important to avoid sun to the treated area after your laser hair removal.

  • Yes! The follicles that are targeted will permanently be removed.

    Over time hormonal changes or other life events may stimulate new follicles to come out of dormancy in treated areas. This can easily be addressed with a maintenance treatment.

  • Pricing depends on the amount of time needed to treat the areas you would like treated. Our sessions start at $299 for a 20 minute laser hair removal session. We encourage our clients to maximize their treatment time by:

    -Selecting an appropriate amount of body areas for your treatment time slot.

    - Ensuring that all areas to be treated are freshly shaven without visible hair

    - Applying any desired numbing cream at home prior to arrival

    - Avoiding sun to the areas to be treated for 7 days prior to treatment
